The fith annual Conductors Institute in South America will be held in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It will provide participants with a wonderful combination of musical and cultural experiences. Porto Alegre is a bustling provincial capital and considered one of Brazil's most sophisticated cities. It will be the winter season and many outdoor sports, including skiing are available.

Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Op. 64

FEES

  • Conductor $1,950.00
  • Auditors $975.00
Fee includes single accommodations, breakfast, and an arrival and departure dinner.

Fee does not include airfare.


GRADUATE CREDIT

Graduate professional-development credit for participating conductors is available through the University of South Carolina. Credit-seeking participants must be admitted to The Graduate School as a degree or non-degree student by June 1, 2005, must be enrolled for credit before the beginning of the Institute, and must pay additional applicable tuition fees.
